Whether or not there will be another Ice Age depends on many climatic, along with a few unpredictable situations. As for natural selection, it is always happening. There is always natural selection. It is how organisms evolve so that only the fittest survive. If by natural selection you mean natural selection during this "ice age," then yes. There have been too many example showing that the fittest will survive. Either natural selection will happen and there will be enough variation for the species to survive, or the species will go extinct. Going back to your first question, I honestly think an all-out ice age is out of the question for now, so no need to worry, but that sure does give me some inspiration for a movie.
