Growing up in the atheistic Soviet Union, evolution was a held belief although most our time was spent studying Marxism. Although evolution shaped my early life, it didnt have as much sway later in my life. The largest part where it effected me was socially, I had to be careful about what I said else something bad were to happen

For most of my life, I didn't even know what evolution was. I am one of the most famous magicians in the world; I studied escape acts and tricks, not natural selection!
As far as I can remember, evolution has not played a role in my life. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee with my very religious mother and father. Even though I dropped my religion from when I was young, I never thought of evolution as more than a scientific theory. My spiritual beliefs do not believe in evolution.
